This read-through platform is currently used to develop specific drugs against spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) by BioBlast Pharma and is in clinical trials as a treatment for patients suffering from Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP).
In other aspects of her work, Dr. Rosin-Arbesfeld is focusing of different aspects of the Wnt pathway and is currently establishing methods for prolonging the life span of Red Blood Cells (RBCs).
